We tried this little BBQ joint this past week. My husband got their famous pork chop sandwich & I got the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. All sides cost extra but with the 2 sandwiches, 1 small & 1 medium potato salad & 1 medium BBQ beans with 2 drinks it was only $18. The pork chop sandwich was simply amazing!! It was huge and so tasty! As for the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, they use a mustard type flavor BBQ sauce and I was not a fan of it. The potato salad was creamy & not chunky at all. The BBQ beans seemed like they were out of a can and nothing great. I would come back here but just to get the pork chop sandwich for $6, nothing else!

Great little BBQ place! The line starts forming at 10:30 AM, so come early or go late. Slay and Jennifer carry out their dad's barbecue legacy to perfection. Everything on the menu is fantastic from the $1.49 chipped sandwich to the Cue tater and the sweet tea is perfect!

I grew up in Phenix City on Boston Butt BBQ. This place has it just like I remember. The hot mustard sauce is perfect.

Look if your going once get the porkchop sand which hot with slaw. Get a side of beans and some chips You will love it ST Peter won't let you in without trying it going on the cheap the chipped is good

Outstanding Bar-B-Q! Very friendly staff. We loved the baby back ribs. The chopped pork was wonderful. Once I saw the location (a little off the main path) and the full parking lot, I knew I was going to eat well. We were not disappointed. Also, portions were huge. We'll be back on our next visit to Phenix City!

Love the ribs and the people that work there if you want a sample they'll reach it to you and they have the best sweet tea. Got catering for work once and loved it especially the baked beans with pork.

This is a tiny place with awesome barbecue. My favorite item is the Porkchop Sandwich! Primarily a lunch place though so it isn't open late. I think this location usually closes around 6pm. If you want to stealth in like a regular use the order lingo below. Order lingo: "porkchop sandwich, with, hot" Translation: Porkchop sandwich, with bbq slaw on it, and I want hot sauce on it.
